About Us
The Doherty Group has grown rapidly over the last decade and today have 65 Dedicated members of staff and a fleet of over 24 Trucks along with Oil Delivery Trucks, Harvesters and Forwarders specialised for our timber businesses.
Formed in 2000 and with continual annual expansion, the company operates from 3 sites 2 in Omagh (this affords the business the opportunity to garage all machines on site and store materials/stock & 1 in Tarbat Yard Scotland .
The Doherty Group was formed from a group of individual companies which identified a gap in the market – in particular in the timber harvesting and transport sectors for a specialised, reliable service, and has continued to grow and expand through constant investment in new machinery and by continuing to provide a reliable service to our increasing customer base. With 64+ highly trained and skilled staff operating a fleet of over 24 Trucks, Harvesters, Forwarders and Liebherr machines.& Domestic Oil Tankers — the Doherty Group will continue to grow and expand into new markets and territories.
We also operate a Home Heating Oil business covering Co Tyrone & Fermanagh Daily providing Home Heating Oil and Agri Diesel.
